Om undervisning
My area of specialty is hand-drawn animation, which I believe is the best starting point if you want to go on to explore digital animation independently. I will shape the content of our sessions together according to your level of experience and your interests. For example, if you've never animated before in your life we'll cover the basics together and start off working with character design and working towards making a walk cycle with your character. On the other end of the spectrum, you might be an experienced digital animator interested in learning about more experimental hand-drawn animation techniques. I'm happy to teach with a traditional narrative structure in mind, covering storyboarding and animatics or with an experimental approach, using editing to create an implied narrative. Hei, I'm Beth Madeley! I graduated from my BA in Illustration Animation at Kingston School of Art, London last summer and have been working as a freelancer since, creating animations on commission as well as teaching Concept Design and Drawing at Oslo By Steinerskole.
