Om Amir
Hello!
For nearly eight wonderful years, I've been teaching math with joy in esteemed schools, institutes, and private settings. My students come from diverse backgrounds, hailing from Iran to places like Canada, Europe, and the UK. This journey allowed me to master various educational systems like IB, KS3, GCSE, and more.
I began my journey in mathematics at one of Iran's best universities for my undergraduate studies, consistently ranking among the top achievers. This achievement enabled me to bypass the master's entrance exam and earn a master's degree in Pure Mathematics with an A-grade GPA.
I've had the privilege of witnessing amazing transformations. Take, for instance, one of my students from the IB program, who, with a little nurturing, blossomed into a recipient of a full scholarship at the University of Toronto in Computer Science after just three years of dedicated classes. Then there's the story of another student who, through our focused math sessions in about a year, ascended to the top 5% of the national university entrance exam's math section in Iran.

I believe in creating a friendly and supportive space for learning. I listen closely to my students, adapt my teaching methods, and make sure each lesson feels personal and creative. My goal is to help my students shine and be the best they can be in math. I understand that everyone has their own strengths and areas to work on. That's why I tailor my teaching to make math understandable and help students grow, while also boosting their confidence.
My teaching strategy is all about diving into different examples. Learning math is like gaining new perspectives and building experience. By working through various examples, I show my students how to tackle problems from different angles. So, when faced with a new challenge, they're ready to tackle it with confidence. I encourage all students to ask questions, no matter how simple or complex the problem might seem. Our classes are meant to be exciting and full of curiosity.
Online Classes:
In our online classes, we connect through video chats. I use my tablet's pen to draw and write on the screen. This helps me explain things clearly and keep our lessons neat and organized. While students are welcome to take notes, a comprehensive note file will be shared at the end of each session and every question and topic gets special attention.
