Om Reema
My name is Reema. I grew up in the Netherlands, but I have been everywhere for my education over the past couple of years. Everywhere I went, I taught Dutch in addition to my studies.
Teaching languages and seeing another person reach a new ability to communicate is wonderful, and it has driven me to this platform to extend my skills to others via the internet.
Then a bit about me: I have been to an international high school, went off to study cognitive neuroscience and philosophy, and am now obtaining my master's in journalism in London. I adore playing piano and theatre, reading (a lot), and education.

Hi there!
I opt to give Dutch classes following the CEFR-guidelines. Our classes will be focused on getting from one level to another, but I always check first what your personal goal is. For some it is to be able to speak with their boss because they are moving, for others because they just want to learn another language. Everything is welcome.
After I think you can reach the next level (e.g. A1 or A2) we do an official test from the Dutch government to see where your language skills are. My classes are also provided with weekly exercises and Quizlets to train your vocabulary.
Typically, I recommend taking at least two classes a week, as otherwise progress will be slower and with (language) learning, consistency and repetition are key. The classes are normally 60 minutes, but can be molded to however long suits you and your attention span!
