Hi! I am Isabel. I graduated from The University of Aberdeen in Scotland with a degree in Film-Visual Culture & English. I adore cinema, enjoy discussing its various aspects, and I am always ready to have a conversation about anything and everything film related!
Some of my favourite films of all time include Goodbye, Dragon Inn (2003), First Cow (2019), and Moonstruck (1987). As a part of both my professional and my personal life, the art of cinema ties my entire world together.
I would be happy to share some of my knowledge with you, and learn about your favourites in return!

I have a degree in Film-Visual Culture & English with years of experience in student tutoring at university levels. However, this course can suit anyone who has an interest in cinema and wishes to expand their knowledge. The lessons are offered in English.
If you are a student, I can aid with academic work and offer guidance. Writing skills, critical analysis and evaluation are crucial for a student in this specialty, and together we can work to improve your proficiency.
If you are a film enthusiast, we can discuss the art of cinema, I can offer guidance in terms of gaining deeper insight into the film world, whether that be a chronologial study of film, or a specialised study of various world cinemas, such as French, Italian, Japanese, Taiwanese, or any other cinema you might have an interest in. Let me know!
A lesson would normally be an hour long but this could also be adjusted depending on your own specific needs.
