Om Alessandro
Alessandro Russo is a talented Italian saxophone player based in Oslo, with a prolific career spanning 14 years. He is a valued and versatile artist, very active within the Europe music scene. Coming from a solid classical and jazz background, over the years Alessandro has become progressively involved in a broad variety of musical projects, including funk, latin, pop and electronic music and Hiphop, House Music experimenting with new sounds and his own compositions.Thanks to his natural communication skills and high level of education and experience.
He has collaborated and performed with various artists such as,Frenna, Giacomo Turra, Akua Naru, Sly5thave, Ed Motta, Young Gun Silver Fox, DeWolff, Dawn Brothers,Shirma Rouse, Ghostface Killah (Wu- tang Clan), Dj Yella (N.W.A.) and many others performing at renowned venues across Europe and USA such as the North Sea Jazz Festival, Lowlands, Melkweg, Couleur Café, Koninklijk Concertgebouw Amsterdam, De Doelen, Gentse Feesten, Vienna Sunsplash and many more. .
