Om Kristian
Kristian Lund is a true musical prodigy who started writing songs at the tender age of six. He quickly picked up six different instruments by the time he turned 10 and was already busking around his hometown of Whangamata. Homeschooling provided him the perfect opportunity to focus solely on music, and by age 15, he was already producing songs with friends.
After leaving home at 18, Kristian traveled all over New Zealand before eventually landing in Norway, where he met his mentor, Eigil Gjerstad Berntsen. In 2019, he founded Snowflake Studios, producing and recording music for local artists, including a charity song for suicide prevention.
Kristian's musical journey has led him to work alongside a wide variety of artists, including but not restricted to Arkia, Chris Medina, and JOWST. His co-writing on "Geronimo" by Umami Tsunami earned him a spot in the finals of Norges Melodi Grand Prix in 2023.
Kristian's passion for music and creativity has led him to start his own songwriting school, Flow State Sound, where he shares his unique philosophy on being an artist. With his remarkable talent and inspiring outlook, Kristian Lund is a musician to watch and a teacher to learn from.

Kristian Lund's passion for songwriting started at the young age of six and has since blossomed into a successful career in music. Not only does he write songs professionally, but he also shares his expertise with aspiring musicians through his teaching services. With over a decade of experience, Kristian offers personalized one-on-one lessons and structured courses in music production and songwriting.
His unique teaching methods are based on the science of creativity and are designed to help his students become effortlessly creative, leading to increased productivity and successful music careers. Several of his students have even gone on to qualify for MGP finals and have been featured on Spotify's New Music Friday.
Kristian's teaching philosophy extends beyond just music; he believes that to be a truly successful artist, one must understand the neurological, psychological, spiritual, and physical aspects of creativity. He incorporates concepts of mindfulness and meditation into his lessons, which can have a positive impact on all aspects of his student's lives.
Drawing inspiration from Western and Eastern philosophy, Kristian's lessons are based on the essence of what has worked for some of history's greatest songwriters and creatives, including legends like George Harrison, Paul McCartney, John Lennon, and contemporary stars like Ed Sheeran, Max Martin, and Timberland.
