Om Aleksandra
Aleksandra Strokina (born 1991) is a professional artist living and working in Stavanger. With a background in civil engineering and architecture, she eventually chose to leave that career path to fully devote herself to art and to sharing her skills with others.
Her passion for painting began in childhood and has deepened through six years at an art school. Aleksandra is inspired by the beauty of the nature and architecture around her, and she loves capturing those moments. She enjoys painting both personal artworks and commissioned pieces made on request.
In addition to her own artistic practice, Aleksandra teaches art classes for children, teens and adults in Stavanger. She creates a safe and supportive environment where everyone can develop technical skills, discover their own style, and simply enjoy the process of painting.

Watercolor Course for Beginners in Stavanger
Adults Welcome (18+)
This 4-week course covers the fundamentals of watercolor painting, including materials, basic techniques, color mixing, and simple compositions. It is suitable for complete beginners, as well as anyone who would like to build a solid foundation in watercolor painting.
Whether you are looking for a new creative hobby, an evening activity after work, or simply want to explore watercolor painting, this course will help you get started with confidence. You will learn how to choose the right materials, understand essential techniques, and create your own watercolor paintings.
Dates: September 3, 10, 17, and 24 (Thursdays)
Time: 18:00–19:30
Price: 1800 NOK (The price includes all four sessions and all materials.)
