Om Fawaz
I have always been into academics since my early college, I have had a sense of acheievement by looking at people progress in life, it brings about an internal motivation that is not possible in other fields. Secondly i want to spread the knowledge i have possessed over the course of last years, in terms of acheiving high distinctions but also focusing on new theoritical and practical ways to look at global issues. I just love to mentor and spill over the positive externality of learning to increase merit in societal equitable distribution of knowledge. This leads to better sustainable learnings as well as opportunity for increase human capital with focus on better informed individuals.
I have worked as Economist and assistant to professor at Uio at the medicine faculty, some of reports have been part of the NIPH or FHI, where i work with economist and researchers from different field of statistics, machine learning and cost benefit analysis for the society. I am informed with both data and empirical approaches within economics, my work has involved working with various startup for health technology assessments, but also with well known pharmaceutical industries whom we are involved with for submitting assessments. My background in Economics and provides me with skills i can leverage to help students to enhance their career pathways while knowing about the norsk study mechanism and structures.I can be searched at linkedin for my professional experience, please do not hesitate to reach out:)
