Om Joel
I'm an experienced and accomplished musician and educator, teaching the drums to students of all ages since 2013. After studying a BMus in Popular Music Performance at London’s Institute of Contemporary Music Performance (The ICMP) and achieving Partial Qualified Teaching Status through the licentiate program (Level 6), I have taught privately at rehearsal spaces and students homes, following both bespoke lesson plans and the Rockschool syllabus. I have also led businesses and organisations using drum circles as team building exercises.
My career to date has seen me work with the likes of Tom Odell, Peter & Kerry, Roseau, Jagara, Christina Novelli and many others. My live experience has seen me touring extensively throughout the UK and Europe, performing at some of the biggest and most respected music venues including Brixton Academy, The O2 Arena, Shepherd’s Bush Empire, The Cardiff Motorpoint Arena and Ronnie Scotts, to name a few.
As well as my BMus, I also holds a Rockschool LRSL Music Teaching Diploma (Level 6) and I proudly endorse Tama Drums, Sabian Cymbals and Protection Racket cases.
