Om Campbell
Hi,
my name is Campbell and maybe I'm your new guitar teacher. I'de like to tell you a bit about myself before we get started. I grew up in a little town in southern California called Santa Barbara. There I studied blues guitar from the ages of 11 to 18. After graduating high school I took a break and went to Nepal and studied music there for 3 months. When I came back I began studying music theory, classical and jazz guitar at Santa Barbara City college. I then transferred to the Evergreen State College where I studied art and played in several bands. I have been writing my own music and playing in different bands since that time. I would love to share the knowledge I have gained along this journey of music with you!

I can teach students from ages 6-60 and above. If you just want to learn how to play basic guitar or you are just beginning to study jazz or the blues I can teach you the skills and knowledge to help you reach your desired level. The lessons I teach are anywhere from 30 minutes to two hours depending on your age and skill level. I have studied the blues since I was 11 years old with private tutors and attended Santa Barbara City College in Santa Barbara California to learn music theory, classical and jazz. Guitar is a difficult instrument to learn but with practice and dedication I believe that anyone can become as skilled as the best guitar players. Learning an instrument is not only about study and process but also about playing so when I teach music I encourage my students to have fun with the instrument as well.
