Om Jordann
I’m originally from Canada and moved to Norway in September 2024. Piano has been a passion of mine since I was five years old, and I grew up learning in a warm and encouraging home studio with the same piano teacher throughout my studies.
As a friendly and outgoing person, I want to create that same sense of warmth and encouragement for my students. I have always enjoyed being around children, and coming from a family of five with nine nieces and nephews, I’m very comfortable with young personalities and different learning styles.
My goal is to provide adaptable, encouraging lessons in a welcoming environment.
I am so excited to teach you the piano! Welcome to my home studio!

* 30-minute beginner lessons (ages 5-12) *
I completed my piano studies in Canada through the Royal Conservatory and began playing piano at the age of five. I grew up learning in a warm and encouraging home studio, and I would love to create that same experience for my students.
Although I am classically trained, I am highly flexible in my teaching to adapt each child’s personality, learning style, interests, and pace, while building a strong foundation in technique, music reading, rhythm, ear training, and musical expression.
For beginners, I use Faber Piano Adventures as a foundation, alongside additional music and activities suited to the student. Faber is interactive and engaging for children, whilst also helping build strong skills in music reading, technique, and piano playing. It also gives parents a clear structure to help their child with practice at home.
Lessons are taught in English, and I am currently welcoming a small number of beginner students for after-school lessons Monday–Thursday.
