Om Christophe
My name is Christophe and I am American by birth but I no longer feel connected to it. I left America over 14 years ago to travel the world and work and I have never regretted it. I have lived in 74 countries and held residency in 12. Norwegian is the final stop for me I hope and my husband and I are looking at staying permanently. We will be in Bergen for 6 months minimum while looking for a home but after that we will be somewhere along the coast -- where, I do not know. We will be establishing a farm and a farm to table restaurant and small hotel as well as a nomad retreat. My passions are always obvious and I love to share them with anyone who is willing.

I have been a digital nomad for 15 years and have lived in 74 countries. I am now settling down in Norway with my husband and I tutor and coach on the side. I prefer one on one classes with students because it allows me to be flexible and focus on what needs further attention easily. I usually teach in the afternoon or evening after school or business hours.
Math I have tutored for most of my life because my mother was a Math and Science teacher for 7-12 year olds for 39 years and I tutored in her classroom afterschool, while I lived in America. I have studied Math up through Calculus as it was required for Architecture school but my passion lies in Geometry, Trigonometry, and Algebra.
Science I have a deep love for. Biology and Chemistry I studied in high school and College and love to keep up with modern events in both fields to this day.
History was enough of an obsession that I was a double major in school and I focused on European and Asian history. I still spend a large amount of time reading books about history just for enjoyment and I would love to pass on my passion to students.
English was a major career focus for me as I consulted in Asia and across the world. I helped write presentations and coach business English to ensure that clients could be well understood. I have a firm grasp of what is needed to be eloquent and yet understandable. I also do American accent classes to help students acquire an American pronunciation before taking a job or moving to America for an education.
Cooking is an obsession beyond education for me. I have taken cooking lessons and studiend cuisine in 25 countries while traveling. I love introducing people to novel flavors or new spices. Nothing makes me happier than helping someone pull off something completely new.
My tutoring is primarily aimed at older students in their teens or later. I have tutored younger children in Math and English but 10 years old is my minimum. Students need a deep grasp of English because my Norwegian is not a high enough level yet to teach in.
