Om Anna
I am a qualified language teacher, with a multidisciplinary background in linguistics, pedagogy, and travel and hospitality management. I hold a Master’s degree in Linguistics, a Bachelor’s degree in Pedagogy, a Bachelor’s degree in Travel Management, and a CELTA qualification. I am approved to teach in upper secondary education in Norway.
I have experience from public schools, language schools, and adult education, working with both English and Norwegian learners at different levels, including language minority students in intensive and curriculum-based programs.
I speak English, Norwegian, Ukrainian, and Russian. I also have professional experience from the international hotel industry, which strengthens my focus on practical communication in workplace and everyday contexts.

My Norwegian as a second language lessons are practical, communicative, and focused on helping you use the language actively from the first lesson.
Lessons are adapted to your goals, whether for everyday life, work, studies, or official requirements such as language exams (A1–B2) and the Norwegian citizenship test (samfunnskunnskapsprøve).
Sessions focus on speaking, listening, guided interaction, and functional language use, helping you build fluency and accuracy through active participation and clear communicative tasks.
Grammar is explained when needed and always linked to practical use in real-life situations.
Having learned Norwegian myself as a newcomer to Norway, I understand the process from a learner’s perspective and support you in building confidence and independence in the language.
