Students do not need to have a very advanced level of English, but a solid understanding of the English language, both written and spoken, is necessary as this is an advanced course in higher education research and writing. Showing students the contrast between English and Norwegian language syntax will help ensure that the student does not feel nervous or incompetent. I have an advanced level in English and will make sure to improve the level of the student to an advanced level as well. Learning to express ideas, theories, interpretations, etc., is vital for effective communication. Courses can be modified to meet the needs of students. Nevertheless, the courses I offer are exhaustive and all-encompassing. I offer a free consultation exchange that allows you to determine the viability of such a course for your specific needs.

My goal is to combine critical analysis with academic writing to help college and university students improve their research comprehension skills and their interpretive writing skills. I teach what critical analysis is and how it is done. I combine it with academic writing so that students learn how to submit theses or articles that meet college academic requirements. My overall goal is to teach young people HOW to think rather than WHAT to think. Due to the high course context, the courses are taught in English, however, I am fluent in Spanish and Norwegian in the event a student needs clarification in these languages. I work with complex issues and teach students to deconstruct in order to understand the core message. I teach academic writing so that their writing aligns with the protocols and expectations of academic writing.
