I am working on a dataset for my master's thesis, and Syed has been absolutely fantastic as he helped me a lot. He trained me to clean and sort the dataset, convert text to numbers (encoding), create a codebook, and create variables in STATA—something I barely knew.
He has taught me all the basics of STATA in a very calm and understandable way. We have worked with descriptive statistics and how to present results in a good way, and today we looked at testing the data for normality and tested the reliability of the questionnaire data.
We also talked about relevant analyses for my thesis, such as regression, t-tests, and non-parametric tests. Syed is incredibly patient, professional, and precise.

As a student sitting for the level 2 Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) exam, I have had the pleasure of having Syed as my teacher in quantitative methods/statistics.

Syed underviste i kvantitativ metode og analyse av data fra spørreundersøkelse i analyseverktøyet SPSS. Det ble gjennomført totalt syv timer undervisning, der undervisningen bestod av gjennomganger av ulike metoder for deskriptiv statistikk og analyser: krysstabulering, one way ANOVA, Khikvadrattest og korrelasjonsanalyse.

Super experience with Syed, while we worked on how how to analyze the qualitative and quantitative data using SPSS. It was great to see how the analysis is specified, and how results are interpreted. Positive, composed and determined person, with good aptitude of quantitative reasoning! I sought guidance from Syed, while preparing for an aptitude test at a financial firm. I had to prepare topics in Mathematics, Descriptive Statistics and in Bayesian Probability, which Syed planned in a manner that I gained lots of confidence and proficiency in around 2 weeks’ time.
