Om Sissel
I am a Norwegian language teacher with extensive experience in teaching Norwegian as a second language. I have taught all levels since 2019, both in classrooms and in workplace settings, helping students develop practical language skills for real-life communication. I am also the author of several Norwegian learning materials and the founder of lesnorsk.no, where I offer structured and flexible online Norwegian courses. Over the years, my students have consistently achieved strong results, with many successfully passing the Norwegian language test. Most importantly, they gain confidence in using Norwegian in everyday life, at work, and in social situations.

Learning Norwegian should feel flexible, practical, and achievable. With more than 15 years of experience, teacher and author Sissel Ofstad offers personalised online Norwegian lessons for expats and immigrants who want to feel confident using Norwegian in everyday life, at work, or for the Norwegian test. Lessons are patient and speaking-focused, using carefully adapted materials based on your level, goals, and life situation. You can choose between 45- or 60-minute sessions, with flexible scheduling available during the day, in the evening, and on weekends. The goal is not only to learn Norwegian — but to feel comfortable actually using it.
