Om Nory Paola
Hi! I'm Nory, 31, happily settled in Norway now , though getting here took some detours. I'm from Peru, and I've also lived in Spain and England, so by the time I tackled Norwegian, I was already a professional language-struggler.
And I mean that seriously, learning English and then Norwegian in just a few years was genuinely hard. Real confusion, real mistakes, real "why is this language like this" moments. So when you're stuck on a word, I get it. I've been there, more than once.
I also test my patience daily with my Norwegian boyfriend, who insists on arguing with me in Norwegian even when I'm clearly right in Spanish. He still won't take lessons from me. His loss.
Outside class, you'll find me playing guitar, dancing salsa and bachata, or on the volleyball court — so I'm all about good energy and real conversation, which is exactly what we'll do in Spanish too.

I'm not a "trained teacher", I'm a social worker, which might actually be better. My whole job is listening, figuring out what people need, and explaining things until they click. Turns out that's most of what makes a good language class too.
I've been learning Norwegian myself while living in Norway, so I know what it feels like to sound like an idiot in a new language — and how good it feels when a sentence finally comes out right. I won't judge you for mixing up "ser" and "estar" for the 47th time. We've all been there.
My strength: conversational Spanish, the kind you actually use with real humans, not textbook dialogues about buying train tickets. I can also add cultural context from both Spain and Latin America (Peruvian roots + years living in Spain).
