My name is Nicholas, and I am a PhD-qualified tutor in physiology and anatomy with a strong academic and teaching background. My name is Nicholas, and my approach to tutoring is focused on clarity, structure, and real understanding. I specialise in breaking down complex concepts in physiology and anatomy into simple, logical steps that are easy to follow and apply. My teaching style is interactive and tailored to each student, whether that involves working through diagrams, applying concepts to real-world examples, or focusing on exam-style questions.
Sessions typically last 60 minutes, although this can be adjusted depending on the student’s needs. Each lesson is structured to build confidence, reinforce key principles, and ensure long-term understanding rather than short-term memorisation.
I hold a PhD in Clinical Exercise Physiology, alongside a Master’s degree and undergraduate training in strength and conditioning. I also have experience teaching at undergraduate and master’s level, which allows me to support students across a wide range of academic standards.
My tutoring is suitable for secondary school, college, and university students, particularly those studying sport science, health sciences, physiotherapy, or related fields. I also support students preparing for exams or needing help with specific topics.
