Om undervisning

My approach as a private tutor

I am a postgraduate in Zoology with research experience and published scientific articles. Teaching is my passion, and I truly enjoy working with young minds and helping students develop a strong understanding of Biology.

My teaching approach focuses on understanding concepts rather than memorising information. I explain topics using simple, relatable examples and encourage students to ask questions, think critically, and connect concepts with real-life situations. I believe every student learns differently, so my sessions are tailored to each student's individual needs, learning style, and cognitive ability.

I have been tutoring for the past 3 years, with experience teaching students from different countries and educational backgrounds. This has helped me understand different learning needs and adapt my teaching methods accordingly.

Teaching methods

• Clear and step-by-step explanations of concepts
• Real-life examples and practical applications
• Interactive discussions and question-and-answer sessions
• Revision and practice exercises
• Personalised lessons based on the student's strengths and areas that need improvement
• Support with school curriculum, assignments, exam preparation, and difficult topics

Typical lesson duration

My lessons are usually 1 hour long. The number of sessions per week can be decided according to the student's needs, the parent's preference, and the amount of content that needs to be covered. I am flexible and can adjust the pace and duration of the course depending on the student's progress.

Qualifications and experience

I hold a Postgraduate degree in Zoology and have research experience, including published scientific articles. I have approximately 3 years of tutoring experience, teaching Biology to students from different countries through online classes.

Who my courses are for

My classes are suitable for middle and high school students who want to improve their Biology knowledge, strengthen their understanding of concepts, prepare for examinations, or receive additional academic support.

Classes are conducted in English.
