My name is Maria, I am 22 years old and I am studying History at the University of Oslo. My passion is foreign languages, and after years of studying them, I decided to share my knowledge with others to build bridges between cultures. My Norwegian level is currently above average, but I have six months of experience teaching Norwegian to foreign university students on a volunteer basis.

I teach teenagers and adults, following a combination of classic and modern methods for learning a foreign language that will definitely lead you to the result. No pointless memorization of word lists, you will learn vocabulary only in context and memorize it through spaced repetition. Instead of focusing on grammar in schemes - the emphasis is on grammar in context. I consider reading and listening to be the most important skills to start understanding the language. Thanks to extensive reading, I reached the B1/B2 level in Norwegian in less than a year, almost from scratch. I have many life hacks that will help you as a foreigner to master Norwegian as quickly as I managed to.

We have known each other for a couple of years. I can only say good things about her.
