The qualities I possess that have enabled me teach effectively include a patient and calm demeanour which have served to give confidence in my students’ abilities, and the space for them to learn, grow and develop. An ability to build positive relationships with all students with an entirely inclusive approach to teaching; in-depth knowledge of my subject matter and an understanding that I too must continuously grow and develop. I also possess a strong grasp of the learning process with outstanding lesson planning, presentation and communication capabilities. I have had a positive impact on my students present and future lives using High Impact Teaching Strategies (HITS), from giving real life examples relating what they learn to their aspirations, to supporting them through UCAS applications and recommendations has enabled students to be well acquainted with all undergraduate pathways.

I have 10 years of experience ranging from 11 years of age to 18 years. I simplify complex concepts for students to understand. I make learning interactive and I always put myself at the level of the student. I specialised in Physics but I can also teach Mathematics and Science.
